eter Strömberg is a Swedish baritone who started his bachelor studies in Birmingham, England and he finished them in Aarhus, Denmark. He took his Master’s degree at the Academy of Music “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin in 2012 in the classes of Prof. Scot Weir, Prof. Sebastian Noack, Prof Wolfram Rieger and Prof. Julia Varady.  Over the years he also took part in master classes by Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau Helmuth Rilling, Peter Berne, Helmut Deutsch, Kirsten Buhl Møller, Gustav Djupsjöbacka, Stephan Mai, Raphael Alpermann, Eric Saedén and Bo Skovhus.


Besides singing in Zürcher Sing-Akademie, Peter also sings in other renowned ensembles like “Collegium Vocale Gent”, “Det Norske Solistkor”, MDR radio choir Leipzig and the Berlin radio choir. Thus he got the opportunity to sing with a great number of prestigious conductors like Sir Simon Rattle, Philippe Herreweghe, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, René Jacobs, Sir Simon Halsey, Neeme Järvi, Iván Fischer, Herbert Blomstedt, Daniel Harding, Kent Nagano, Seiji Ozawa, Eric Ericsson and many more.


As a soloist Peter has specialized himself as a lied and oratorio singer and performs a wide range of repertoire from baroque to contemporary music.
