span lang="EN-US">Matthias Klosinski’s initial musical experience started as a singer with the Stuttgarter Hymnus boys’ choir. Besides taking singing lessons he was taught to play the violin and piano for many years.

In 2014, he was scholarship holder of the Richard-Wagner-Stiftung. For over ten years, the tenor is singing regularly with various professional choirs and ensembles such as the Balthasar-Neumann-Chor, Basler Madrigalisten, Choir of the Bamberger Sinfoniker, WDR radio choir, choir soloists of the Komische Oper Berlin, ChorWerk Ruhr, Dufay Ensemble, Schola Heidelberg, Schweizer Kammerchor, Vocalconsort Berlin and the Zürcher Sing-Akademie.

Matthias Klosinski is likewise engaged in conducting for several years. Next to private lessons in conducting with Prof. Winfried Toll and Prof. Wolfgang Schäfer and a C-diploma in church music, his studies are completed by several classes and workshops in orchestral and choral conducting.

In 2016 he founded the male choir ‘cantus x’, in 2018 the mixed chamber choir ‘Ensemble Horizons’.
